Lovers’ secrets spill at the river delta, as Rainbow Chan plucks memories from a bygone childhood.

Idols 偶像 is the first single from Rainbow Chan’s forthcoming EP, Stanley. Lush vocals flit in between celestial chords, as Rainbow Chan recounts the tale of a couple lost In The Mood for Love.

Completely self produced, Stanley is her exploration of a love past, a farewell to a city that’s changed forever. Inspired by the recorded mixtapes of her grandmother’s bedside, Stanley is like a loving cassette, re-recorded and passed down through generations of family, but always retaining traces of its warm core.
